Torbay has over 22 miles of glorious coastline to explore.
Local entertainments close to the hotel include, Princess
Theatre, The English Riviera Centre, Short 9 hole golf course,
water sports and sea trips to name but a few. We have excellent
transport links close by for travel throughout Torbay. The
coastal bus route number 12 travels from Torquay to Brixham
and is only a short walk from the hotel. The tourist information
office is located in the inner harbour in Torquay with information
on entertainments and shows throughout the Torbay area. Star
attractions in Torbay include Living Coasts, Paignton Zoo,
Babbacombe Model Village and Kents Cavern. The main Torquay
shopping centre is again within easy walking distance as is
the popular Torquay harbour side.
Coach and bus trips are near by for travel
to the National Park in Dartmoor. Torquay train station is
situated at the far end of the sea front area for travel to
Plymouth, Exeter and beyond. Season dependent attractions
include fairground rides, firework displays, the red arrows
acrobatic display team, Torquay, Paignton and Brixham sailing
regattas. Torbay has a diverse range of restaurants and eateries
including Indian, Chinesse, Italian, French and Morocan to
name but a few.
Babbacombe is a region of Torquay, which
is a holiday resort in itself. Situated just two miles from
the Torquay harbour side area it has excellent transport links
throughout Torbay and South Devon. From the cliff top promenade
you can enjoy stunning views across Lyme Bay that, on a clear
day, can stretch as far as Golden Cap in Dorset.
